Slade Brockman - A Dedicated Advocate for Our Community

Since his appointment to the Australian Senate in August 2017, Senator Slade Brockman has been a tireless advocate for the people of Western Australia. Raised on a prolific family farm in the southwest of WA, he brings a deep understanding of the agricultural sector and rural issues to his work in the Senate.

Currently, Senator Brockman chairs the Senate Standing Committee on Privileges and is an active member of the Senate Standing Committees on Education and Employment.

He also previously served as President of the Senate, voted in from August 2021.

Senator Brockman's policy interests and experience spans defence and security, trade and agribusiness, as well as economics and financial services, reflecting his commitment to enhancing our nation's prosperity and security.
