Hi, I’m David Goode your local Liberal candidate in Burt.

Together with my wife Jenny, we have lived locally in our community for 25 years and have six children and five grandchildren.

I have dedicated my time serving and improving our local community as an active Justice of the Peace, local business owner, and as a City of Gosnells Councillor. From 2019 to 2021, I was privileged to serve our community as the Mayor of the City of Gosnells.

I understand the challenges facing many small businesses, having started my own finance broking business after a career as a Bank Manager. I have degrees in Accounting, Management and have a Diploma in Financial Services.

As local residents, Jenny and I are involved in our community, working with organisations and sporting groups to develop local solutions for local problems. I have been Chair of the Canning Vale College Board since 2016 and helped establish the Canning Vale Junior Football Club in 1996.

I have real life experience – I have started my own business, raised a family with my wife, and represented our community as the local Mayor.

I’m now putting my hand up to represent Burt in Federal Parliament because we need someone who will get things done to ensure our community remains one of the best places to live, work and raise a family.
